Sustainable lifestyle is an eco-friendly method to attempt to reduce a person’s consumption of Earth’s natural resources to balance the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

Sustainability isn’t only good for ourselves, with this we are also sparing the environment and all who lives in it at the same time. Here are our quick baby steps into a sustainable lifestyle.

These three techniques that is very familiar to us is the “Reuse, Reduce, Recycle”

From handcrafting our own furnishing and garments, we’re making big improvement on our impact to the environment. Purchasing less does not only help the earth but will also save you money. Holding onto clutter and nonessential items can burden you.

Plastic Waste

According to World Animal Protection, plastic pollution are among our biggest environmental threats and it’s hurting our sea animals, making them sick. Living in a plastic-free life isn’t as easy as it seems to be, but taking little initiative like declining to purchase with a bag of plastic and utilizing a recycled bag or eco-bag rather is a big help to the earth. Accidentally using plastic is unavoidable so don’t beat yourself up.

Starting your own garden from small plants has enormous benefits aside from saving the planet and acquiring a new skill, inhaling a healthy bacterium that lives in soil, can increase levels of serotonin and reduce anxiety. Controlling the food we consume is a great way to make use of our space and cut back your finances.

Save Energy

One of the most basic and simple way of saving our environment is cutting back our electricity consumption. By merely turning off our unused lights and electronics and switching to an environmentally friendly gadget.

In these little things that we do, we are giving the future generation a chance to witness the beauty of nature while they still can and prolong the life of our planet.
